ENTSO-E Assessment of Multi-Annual Hedging Transmission Rights

In response to a request from the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), ENTSO-E has completed a study assessing the feasibility of multi-annual transmission rights.

ENTSO-E was requested by ACER to analyse the risks and possibilities of introducing multi-annual transmission capacity products between bidding zones. The study analyses the potential costs and benefits of introducing such products and the possible implications for wholesale electricity markets. ENTSO-E has now submitted the feasibility of multi-annual transmission rights study to ACER for its feedback and looks forward to its response
